Rex and Sally

Once upon a time in a land far far away there lived a little princess by the name of Penny Pingleton. This little girl was once a princess but when her mother and father died she was rightful ruler of the realm. This princess, however was not like any other, you see she had a pet of unusual size you may say. Some people called her crazy, and were worried that some day this beast may get stronger and bigger and not want to obey Penny anymore then destroy the entire village. Of course Penny didn't listen to them. This beast was her pet Dragon, Rex. And he was about the friendliest dragon you will ever meet. Unfortunately for you though this dragon is now dead and gone because this was taken place a billion years ago but archeologist have yet to find the rest of his remains. If your lucky you may stumble upon them and make billions. Anyway that's a huge dream any young person like you may think of but it may happen. You never know. On with the story now, every day Penny would ride on Rex's back to the mountainside, they would fly above the clouds to escape the rest of the world. It seemed like Penny and Rex would stay together forever. Each other was all they need for company. But one day Penny got very ill and ended up passing on. Rex was absolutely devastated. Of course no realm can go without a ruler, but Penny didn't have any children. So a lady in another village had to be brought over and rule the place temporarily. She took one look at Rex and new that he had to go. She was scared just like all of the others that he would turn against her, but also got disgusted wondering who in the world would have such a beast near humans. Anyway she banished him from the village and from all the villages around the area. Rex flew off not knowing where to go, he flew for days on end. Finally he came to this cave up in the mountains and made that his home. Since he had nothing else to do every day he would just fly in the sky and think about the times him and Penny had, and the days it was too cold out he would draw on the cave walls... Years went by Rex got used to his home. For food he would catch birds out of the air or go fishing near the little stream down below... nothing changed for him. Until one day this little girl by the name of Sally went wandering out. She wasn't like other girls in her village, she didn't dress up or try to make herself look presentable. She wanted to be like her father and go hunting and ride her horse through the woods. This one particular day she had a fight with her mama and stormed out. She was trying to run away, so she got on this white steed and rode through to the other side of the forest until she came across the mountains. She knew she couldn't go up with the horse so she let him go and climbed up on her own. She ended up climbing all the way to the cave. When she got inside she noticed the drawings on the cave and knew somebody was living here. But who in the world would be so far away, and how the heck did they climb this. She thought of herself the only brave one in the realm. Anyway she heard a grunting noise and ended up walking deeper, and deeper into the cave... until she stumbled over something. When she picked herself back up, brushed herself back off she looked up and let out the most scariest blood piercing scream she could yell. She saw Rex and was terrified not knowing he was nice. Poor Rex had no clue what to do, when she got done screaming her tried to talk and explain who he was. Of course this freaked her out even more wondering how in the world can a dragon talk... eventually she caught herself and realized he was the one who drew the pictures on the cave walls..... What happens next?? Well sorry to say but it's past my bedtime and so I'm going to leave you on a cliff hanger until tomorrow :). Yeah I know I know I hate when books and movies do this sorta thing to sorry to make you wait. But hey it'll be worth it.
